Turkey Exported Steel Wire Products in January,Rising by 15.95% From a Month Ago

Turkey exported 68,033 tons of steel wire products in January, rising by 15.95% from a month ago and increasing by 6.2% year on year, according to data released by the Turkish Statistics Institute (TUIK).

The export prices of steel wire products averaged at US$606/ton in January, lower than US$655/ton in the same period of a year ago.

In 2012, Turkey’s exports of steel wire products amounted to 893,417 tons, falling by 20.7% year on year. The export revenues generated by steel wire products totaled US$573.25 million, decreasing by 26.1% year on year.
