Turkey's Exports of Longitudinally Welded Tube and Profile in 2012 Jump by 23.3% Y-O-Y

Turkey’s exports of longitudinally welded tube and profile totaled 62,118 tons in last December, surging by 47% from a month ago and increasing by 58.5% year on year, hitting the highest level since December, 2006, according to statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).

Meanwhile, Turkey’s exports of longitudinally welded tube and profile amounted to 511,040 tons in 2012, jumping by 23.3% year on year.

In 2012, the US was the largest importer of the Turkish longitudinally welded tube and profile with 125,289 tons; the UK was the second largest one with 77,099 tons.
